History
editThe rich history of the Nathan Hale school began when Nathan Hale begun teaching at the then-called Union School in 1774[1]. Hale only taught at this school until 1775, when the Revolutionary War began[1]. This schoolhouse was built in 1773, on the corner of State and Union streets[2]
