The name of village is *Duba Duri* DUBA DURI MAP. It is a renowned village in the district of Dera Ghazi Khan. It is an old village. My village is situated on the western side of Dera Ghazi Khan district.This village named with Duri Khan, Duri Khan was first person who comes on this village. This village was became in 1885. The famous man of this village is Sardar Nazar Muhammad Khan AhmdaniGuest House of Nazar Muhammad Khan . Sardar Nazar Muhmmad Khan Ahmdani was a political person, then Union Council was Mana Ahmdani. Mosque. . It is 15 kilometres away from the thana headquarters. The village is not thickly populated. It has a population of about three thousand. Most of them are Muslims. People of various classes live here. Most of the villagers are farmers. Some are businessmen and service holders. Few of the villagers are fishermen and carpenters. There are some educated men in my village. They live brotherly. It is an important village. There are a Primary school and a girls’ primary school. The big market here. There is a health centre in my village. The doctor in charge of it is qualified. So the people of our village enjoy good medical facilities. The village has easy means of communication. The primary schools are really good for the boys and girls for their education. My village is famous for various cultural activities like Kabady, the boat race and the bullock race etc. The people of my village are simple and honest. It may be thought as an ideal village in Pakistan.
