66° North is an Icelandic outwear clothing brand. [1]

History

Sjóklæðagerð Íslands ("Oilskin Company of Iceland") was created in 1926.[1] The main founder was Hans Kristjánnson who was from the Westfjords.[1] The company produced oilskins, jackets, and work clothes in Reykjavík.[1]

The factory burned down in a fire in 1941.[1]
