The UAE League Cup, also known as the Arabian Gulf Cup for sponsorship reasons,[1][2][3] is a knockout tournament for clubs in the UAE Pro-League. The competition was previously known as the Etisalat Emirates Cup for sponsorship reasons.[4] The first edition of the tournament was played in the 2008–2009 season.
