Tonya Suzanne Holly (born July 2, 1962, Red Bay, Alabama)[1] is an American film producer and casting director who studied theater at University of North Alabama.

Holly worked on such movies as Toy Soldiers (1991) and she did the casting for Blue Sky. She has worked with CBS, HBO, NBC, FOX, Morgan Creek, Universal, Buena Vista, and other productions.[citation needed] She founded the Alabama Filmmakers Association[2] in 1991 to help promote film in the state of Alabama.[citation needed]

Cypress Moon Studios edit

The new facilities are now home to Cypress Moon Studios.

Holly is the owner and president of Cypress Moon Studios located in the earlier buildings of Muscle Shoals Sound Studio in Sheffield, Alabama.[citation needed] The latest work directed by Holly was Sleeping Giants: The Union of the Seven.

She helmed shooting of the 2012 Bonnie and Clyde film, The Story of Bonnie and Clyde, starring Sean Faris as Clyde Barrow[3][4] and Lindsay Pulsipher[5] as Bonnie Parker. Casting of the movie was delayed[6] and production was dealt a major setback in April 2011 as tornadoes damaged or destroyed film locations in Mississippi and Alabama. Flooding prevented filming at the state prison in Angola.[6] The film is listed at IMDb as "in development".
