Thogata Veera Kshatriya are a Hindu community found in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana, Maharashtra and South Odisha.Members of this caste traditionally engaged in various occupations, weaving ,including agriculture and other rural activities.They claim descent from Chowdeswari Devi and follow both Shaivism and Vaishnavite tradition.[1]. They are distinct and have no marriage relationship with other weaving castes,like Padmashali and Devanga.
