The Children's Train (Italian: Il treno dei bambini) is an upcoming Italian film co-written and directed by Cristina Comencini, based on the novel of the same name by Viola Ardone. It premiered at the 19th Rome Film Festival on 20 October 2024 and will be released by Netflix on 4 December 2024.

editA teaser trailer for the film was released on 12 February 2024.[4][5] Promotional stills were released in May 2024.[6][7] A teaser poster was released on 18 July 2024.[8][9]
The film premiered at the 19th Rome Film Festival on 20 October 2024.[10]
