The restaurant serves American food and is Christmas-themed as well as early 20th century looking. It houses hundreds of old toys from the 1930s and 40s.[2] The exterior of the building is painted with vibrant pastel colors which started a trend of bright colored houses on the island.[3] There is a gift shop across the street called the Bubble Room Emporium.
In 2022, Hurricane Ian damaged the restaurant leaving it closed for over 2 years.[4] The gift shop opened a year later.[5]
