Flags

edit

Hi, I wanted a template with the flag because it looked cool. I don't care either way - that is, if it has both or one. I would prefer a single flag as it fits better with my userpage. I do not claim to be an expert on this. I do not claim to be right. - FrancisTyers 17:08, 5 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

I think that a template without flags look cools also and is neutral. What do you think about it? Daryou 17:11, 5 January 2006 (UTC)Reply
Well, I think it looks cooler with a flag. If they had an emblem that might look good too. For my WPSU box I'm using the emblem of the USSR not the flag. Besides, we already have a Template:WSWP-Member2. You aren't even a member of the project ;) - FrancisTyers 17:14, 5 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Well can I join this project? Daryou 17:23, 5 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Anyone can join any WikiProject, sign yourself up on the Project Page, under Participants. - FrancisTyers 17:28, 5 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Can I use this template: Template:WSWP-Member3. Daryou 17:33, 5 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

I don't see why not. - FrancisTyers 17:35, 5 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Template:WSWP-Member and User:FrancisTyers

edit

===>I'm posting this at the talk page for both Feel free to respond at either. I changed the size of the box because it screwed up some stuff with my userpage at smaller resolutions. But it really doesn't matter. I'm thinking of fixing it up soon anyway, as all the moving and deleting of userboxes ruined my page (which made me a little angry, I must say.) Go ahead and leave it as is. -Justin (koavf), talk, mail 21:39, 24 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Its ok, I already subst'd and reverted myself :) - FrancisTyers · 22:07, 24 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hold on a minute

edit

We have three versions of the Member template: {{WSWP-Member}}, {{WSWP-Member2}}, {{WSWP-Member3}}. One to reflect each POV. Choose your own and stop messing around. - Francis Tyers · 16:12, 15 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

I will suppose you were reverting in good faith. If you want to have a neutral approach, you need one template for the SADR with the flag of the SADR, and one template for Morocco with the flag of Morocco, and one for WS with a map of Western Sahara, and no flag. Trying to impose the flag of the SADR on a template for WS and what more, to add SADR in quotes is everything but neutral. Things are very clear, and it should not be a problem to reach that neutral solution. The first template is the neutral one, the second for the SADR flag and the third for the Morocco flag. The same text should be in all of them (no mention of (SADR) or (Morocco)). I think it is neutral now.--A Jalil 19:35, 15 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Main WSWP member template

edit

The main template should be neutral and not show one of the parties position. For this, the map should be used instead of the flag. This is extremely clair and balanced. Any attempt to impose one of the parties flag as the main, is naked POV. Please stop this.--A Jalil 07:53, 23 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Main? There is no main template. As you can see, there are three; if you want to use one of them, please do. Otherwise, stop vandalizing them and consequently user page about me. -Justin (koavf)·T·C·M 06:31, 4 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
Yes there is one main user template. It is called WSWP-Member. It is showing the map and not the flags of the conflict parties. If you want to have a neutral appraoch to the conflict, use the one with the map, if you want to to be a member from the Polisario side, use the one with the Polisario flag, and if you want to be a member from the Morocco side, use the one with the Moroccan flag. That is simple. So, pleae stop this nonsense. Update your user page with WSWP-Member2 instead of messing with the templates to impose the flag of polisario.--A Jalil 08:27, 5 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
No, there's not Do you know who founded this group? I know whether or not there is a "main" template. There isn't. You have options; if you want one, use it. If not, leave them alone. -Justin (koavf)·T·C·M 22:35, 7 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
