This template was created for use on the talk pages of articles migrated from the Victoria Cross Resource. It was necessary to replace the external link to the now defunct site to avoid spam following the closure of the site. It is a talk page template because (1) it is customary to include wikiproject notices on the talk page rather than in the article space; (2) although the VCR was a source, since the site is not longer active and was not free from error - the articles should be verified from other sources for verifiability. --Peta 01:28, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
