What do you think edit

Hey guys, what do you think about this new template:

 This user comes from the
United Mexican States

Do you think is better than the current one?

 This user comes from Mexico.

  • As someone from Australia who is not familiar with Mexico, I'd have to say the second one. I prefer the colour scheme, it's more distinctive. The wording however is an interesting question. I was previously not aware that the full name is the United Mexican States, so i've learned something today :-). Your call on whether the wording should be changed, but i do prefer the old colour scheme. And as stated i'm not from Mexico so feel free to take this advice with a grain of salt. Thank you for your comment, and thought that instead of chaging this one, I would create a new template, so Mexican citizents, will have 2 choises to choose from XD Supaman89 01:06, 2 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
I'm the one that created the present template as it is. I have to say I'm impressed by the comment from this Australian Wikipedian. I think we should change the name, because it let people learn the official name of the country. AlexCov     ( Let's talk! ) 23:42, 4 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

And they're proudly Mexican.

Organizing user boxes edit

I just noticed that there are about 4 or 5 user boxes about Mexico in Nationality user templates and Nation of origin user templates categories that contain a text that communicate different ideas. For example, I think that this user box should not be in Nationality user templates category, as Mexico can be your country of origin, but it doesn´t implies that you are an official citizen of Mexico. I'm not against the existence of several user boxes, I just would like that all of them to be classified correctly and contain a text that communicates the same idea.
