Spacing and slash edit

When used inline, this template creates an unsightly space to its right (4
5
). Is there a way to fix this, maybe with negative margins?

Also, to make this more friendly to screen readers, we might want to add an invisible slash symbol between the top and bottom numbers. Thoughts? Accelerometer T / C 02:01, 18 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Spacing fixed.
This template uses {{su}} to do the work; an invisible slash ought to be discussed there. -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 10:17, 13 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
Actually, it was just edited to use {{su}} today. Double sharp (talk) 13:46, 13 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Su edit

Can this template call su directly instead of using {{su}} to make the post-expand include size smaller? It is the second time that the page List of musical works in unusual time signatures reached the post-expand include limit due to having too many time signature templates. For now, replacing the {{music}} time signatures (which just call this) with {{time signature}} has worked, but as the article expands EVEN MORE it's going to hit that limit soon. I raised this matter at Wikipedia talk:Lua/Archive 11#Directly invoking a module, and modified Template:Time signature/sandbox to use Module:Su/sandbox. Template:Time signature/testcases shows that it works. So if this is a real problem, that solution could be implemented. -- Michael Bednarek (talk) 01:38, 3 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
It has been changed by User:Jts1882. Page PEIS shrunk significantly, now at 1.5 MB. Wilh3lmTalk 21:17, 9 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
