Template talk:Soccerbase manager

This is a template to generate links to Soccerbase for manager profiles.

Instructions

1. Go to Soccerbase and search for the person you want
2. Click on the correct link to go to the person's page. Be sure you're getting the right person
3. The page URL should look like http://www.soccerbase.com/players_details.sd?managerid=#####, where "#####" indicates a number.
4. Copy ONLY that number
5. Add to the external links section the text:

{{soccerbase (manager)|id=#####|name=Name}}

where "#####" is the number you've copied, and "Name" is the person's name

Example

1. Searching for "Alex Ferguson", you'll reach this page:

http://www.soccerbase.com/managers2.sd?managerid=48

1. Copy "48" and then write: {{soccerbase (manager)|id=547|name=Alex Ferguson}}

The result is Alex Ferguson at Soccerbase

Changing a link

Can an admin please change the [[Soccerbase]] to [[Racing Post|Soccerbase]]
Also if possible doing the same for that template - {{Template:Soccerbase}} version
