Template talk:MisleadingNameLink

I created this for a specific reason, noted now at Wikipedia:Merging encyclopedias, and as a result of discussion summarised here. I'm basically clueless at templates so adapted {{fact}}. As for {{fact}} it may be used to flag up potential mistakes, but in this case hypertext errors (namely wikilinks taking you to a wrong person of that name). NB that this subclass, people, looks like the most confusing case of this type of error. It may be quite unapparent that some person of the right period and name is in fact not the intended person. So a dedicated template is, based on my experience in project space, quite justified. Of course it can be used in article space, and of course some people are going to say {{sofixit}} - but I know what side I am on that debate, and I think flagging up these errors is a good idea for cleanup, given the hugeness of the personal name issue.
