Untitled edit

This is an attempt to create a single infobox for Magic: The Gathering sets. So far, it's not going so well. Anyone know how to imbed table code into an if-then? --Khaim 20:27, 16 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Design and dev teams edit

Should we include a spot to list the design and development teams? Or at least the Leads on each? --SparqMan 18:41, 24 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yes, I'd like to see the designer(s) listed, at least. I could take of leave the developers. -- JHunterJ 12:24, 14 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
I'd say it's borderline irresponsible to not have both leads. This should happen ASAP. JamesLucas (talk) 16:00, 18 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Line spacing for long set names edit

I notice that Shards of Alara has a big space between its lines in block/chronology sections (as do the Kamigawa sets). Can we decrease that line spacing? I'm investigating, but I'm not immediately seeing how. JamesLucas (talk) 16:26, 18 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

What sets are appropriate? edit

Right now what sets get included in the infobox is something of a jumble. I removed Planechase and Duel Decks: Garruk vs. Liliana from the rest of the "regular" expansions, but Un-, FTV, and Master's Edition are still included. The Duel Decks are all linked via their own infoboxes.

I would propose keeping the Infobox segmented for each series: All the core Magic sets should link, with the Un-sets in their own linked infoboxes, the duel decks, the From the Vault series, the Master's Edition, etc. Perhaps special sets like Vanguard and Planechase shouldn't link to anything else in their infobox. While this somewhat devalues the Infobox as a chronological list of all M:tG products, I think it makes more sense. Thoughts? SirBruce (talk) 23:57, 6 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

I agree. It is rather confusing to have all these special releases mixed in between. Also the main Magic sets are the base sets and the expert level expansion sets. Despite all the releases each year Magic is still basically on a four releases per year schedule and in my opinion it would make sense if the infoboxes reflected that, too. New block layout edit

A new block layout has been announced that'll probably screw with the way we manage this template for the blocks. I'd say wait until the sets after Tarkir block are announced before doing anything, but thought I should bring it up. Supernerd11 Firemind ^_^ Pokedex 14:58, 5 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
