Template errors

Well, I'm not sure what's wrong here; I'm attempting to test the output of this template using {{Inflation/NZ|1965}} and get the following error:

Expression error: Unrecognized punctuation character {.

Which is a bit weird, and is probably why {{Inflation|NZ|10000|start_year=1965}} fails with a "NaN" result. Not sure how to fix this or where to start looking. Halp! :-) — Jon (talk) 03:00, 20 May 2022 (UTC)
