Brown template

edit

I don't care what color it is - though more neutral colors go better with the red and blue in log. How about pink? (ha ha, just joking).

But do we want front tabs template to be the same? Carolmooredc (Talkie-Talkie) 18:38, 20 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hi Carol, I was just playing around (I thought the grey seemed a bit pale). Feel free to revert if you're not keen on it, or change the front tabs, as you choose. SlimVirgin (talk) 18:44, 20 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
How about this one? I guess it is pink. Maybe a tad lighter? A little more colorful. (Not sure where to put the #EEE0E5) or where you'd find the text equivalent. Carolmooredc (Talkie-Talkie) 19:02, 20 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

INTRO TEXT IF WANT

That's nice too. I used the colours suggested by the template, {{Divbox}}. The colour that template calls red is a pink, quite close to the shade you've suggested, but brighter. SlimVirgin (talk) 19:10, 20 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
I like the new style, though a blue or red variation might be a bit better. Have almost finished resources and then will see if a little of the same color as talk page can be answered. Waiting to announce at GGTF talk page til next week since vacationing from (adjectives removed) discussions :-) Carolmooredc (Talkie-Talkie) 21:43, 25 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Synchronizing template colors

edit

At this diff I noted that Template:Gender gap task force/Talk header and Template:WikiProject CSB/Gender gap task force/Tab header seem to use different color schemes. The color Yellow from Template:Divbox on the talk header ends up bright yellow when put in the space where (User:The Vintage Feminist) put "gainsboro". So I asked if she knows where the color scheme comes and if she has any strong preferences. Carolmooredc (Talkie-Talkie) 19:10, 10 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

I think I just flicked through different projects until I found one I liked the look of. I've just done the same again and hit upon this: Wikipedia:WikiProject Military history/Tab header/sandbox which seems familiar, it has "gainsboro", so that was probably the one.
Incidently why is the Portal:Pornography not just pink but PINK! (come to think of it why is there a pornography portal and no anti-pornography portal)? --The Vintage Feminist (talk) 04:44, 11 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
It's certainly pink! SlimVirgin (talk) 00:29, 29 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
