{{editprotected}} To be applied to Harry Potter and all the articles on the Harry Potter books (see list in infobox). Bold text to tell editors that there 2 issues.

Image: as now

Text:

The Harry Potter books were written a British author and each was first published in in the UK. So the rules for these articles are:

  • The title of the first novel is Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. The alternative title Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is used only in the USA. All articles about Harry Potter and the Harry Potter books must use Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone except where writing about the USA edition.
  • British English must be used in these articles. Some words are spelling differently, for example "colour" in British English and "color" in US English. Some words have different meanings, and Harry_Potter_and_the_Philosopher's_Stone#USA_publication_and_reception lists a few. There are a few differences in grammar, for example "got" in British and "gotten" in US.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Philcha (talkcontribs) 05:23, 4 April 2010
