Icon?

Why is the |noicon=false/|noicon=no version of this template displaying nothing? Or is it just me (I have tested in a vanilla browser, with no ad blocker, etc))? Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 22:02, 10 September 2017 (UTC)

@Pigsonthewing: It'd designed so that you can use it alongside the noicon parameter of Module:WikidataIB - so if you set noicon=True and pass it to both the module and this template, and you'll only see this template; pass noicon=False and this template will be hidden while will show next to the items fetched from Wikidata in the infobox. Switch to Module:WikidataIB

Please switch to Module:WikidataIB as per sandbox.

This is more performant since it uses mw.wikibase.getEntityIdForCurrentPage() instead of the expensive mw.wikibase.getEntityObject() but even more importantly Module:Wikidata is deprecated having been unmaintained for several years. Thank you, Uzume (talk) 06:10, 20 December 2019 (UTC)
