Please revise the template so that the template can be used with a DRV nomination such asCategory:Coastal and port cities and towns. Thanks. -- Suntag 02:10, 24 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

The issue is that they don't put CfDs in subpages, and there's no way to write a template that would auto-find and put in the date it appears on (though a bot could). I could add an optional |xfd= parameter or something similar, which would allow to replace the XfD link with whatever you want, but I hesitate to add more parameters to the template. If you've got any suggestions, I'm open to them. lifebaka++ 02:50, 24 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
Actually, I think I've got a solution. When |ns= is set to category, image, or template, the XfD link definitely won't work, so I just wrote up some code that won't display it in those cases, as well as removing the last vertical line. It also gets ride of the ending parentheses, so that more things can be added after {{drvlinks}} in DRVs but still look relatively normal. My code's at User:Lifebaka/Sandbox/NDR, and I'm fairly sure it works just fine with everything. Cheers. lifebaka++ 15:22, 24 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Right, close parenthese

edit

The right, close parenthese after AFD is not showing up in Troopergate (Bill Clinton) DRV. Please fix if possible. Thanks. -- Suntag 14:58, 12 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

I removed it from this template, and added it to {{newdelrev}} et al for ease of adding things to the links. I'll drop it in the DRV itself. Cheers. lifebaka++ 18:09, 12 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Interaction with Template:NewdelrevImg

edit

This template isn't working properly when Template:NewdelrevImg is substituted. See this edit for an example. -- Gordon Ecker (talk) 06:54, 17 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

No support for multiple AfD's on the same article?

edit

How are we supposed to link to a second or third AfD discussion using this template? See Wikipedia:Deletion_review/Log/2008_December_5#Ashkenazi_intelligence for an example. —BradV 05:51, 6 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
