Close paraphrasing

@Theleekycauldron, AirshipJungleman29, BlueMoonset, and BorgQueen: Sorry for the late reply, I've been less active in the last weeks. Could I ask for suggestions of an alternative wording? English is not my first language and I think it would be a pity for the nomination to fail due to an issue that can be easily fixed. If everything else fails, I can remove the contested wording for the nomination to be approved. --NoonIcarus (talk) 13:45, 3 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

@NoonIcarus: I think the issue with text copyright is that it's the one issue where spent reviewer-time scales ridiculously quickly compared to actual amount of copyvio discovered. And, in practice, the amount of time a reviewer is willing to spend working with you on a nomination is what ultimately determines what icon they apply to the page. Having a CLOP issue on a DYK nom is pretty much a kiss of death (or at least, considerable delay), so I'm sorry if this nom doesn't end up providing you with useful guidance on avoiding copyvio. theleekycauldron (talk • she/her) 23:24, 4 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Theleekycauldron: Thank you very much for the feedback, I will consider it in future nominations. I was also asking for a specific alternate wording for this article, though, in case the rejection can be reversed. Since the paraphrasing is the issue at hand, I can simply remove the text too if needed. --NoonIcarus (talk) 00:19, 6 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
