Sorry but I object to all the changes. The whole point of the article and the hook is that Jackson is a miser. Stories about misers attract audiences because misers are weird and we want to understand the what and the why. When I recently had a ten-article hook at DYK, one of the ten bold links was labelled "miser" in the hook, and that was the one which got more clicks than the rest. "Carlisle" matters too, because Jackson was one of our famous English eccentrics, and Carlisle is in England. "Chose to live like a pauper" is needed for the hook, yes, but it does not work on its own: otherwise she could just be an ascetic religious person or similar. Miser and pauper together make her fascinatingly eccentric (with a pile of gold and wearing rags), which of course she was. So please revert the hook to its original form, or discuss it here? Thank you, BorgQueen for reverting the hook to its original DYK nom template version. I am happy for "miser" to be delinked. Storye book (talk) 18:20, 15 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

  • As far as I can see, the last change represents the original hook, as promoted from the DYK nom template, with an additional space before the question mark. Unless I have missed something, I approve the additional space. Storye book (talk) 08:19, 16 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
