    @Pbritti: Hi, it seemed to me at first glance at both articles (the DYK one and the one on the park system) and some external sources that "Denver Mountain Park" seemed like an invented singular back-formation from the plural proper name, but I did another search and "a Denver Mountain Park" does seem to be used elsewhere, so I've reverted my change. — RAVENPVFF · talk · 00:31, 2 August 2023 (UTC)

closure of nomination

Bruxton, it looks like this nomination was not properly closed. it's not your fault; it looks like pshaw had not accounted for a nonstandard line of code (for an image) appearing above the {{DYKsubpage}} template, and ended up inadvertently overwriting both the code for the image and that for the monthyear parameter. i believe this can be fixed with the following steps.

• replace the line "{{DYKsubpage" with "|monthyear=July 2023".
• remove the line "|passed=<!--When closing discussion, enter yes, no, or withdrawn -->".
• add the line "{{main page image/DYK|image=Bison in Daniels Park.jpg|caption=Bison in Daniels Park}}" below the line "{{DYK nompage links|nompage=Daniels Park|Daniels Park}}".

please let me know if any of the above is unclear. normally, i would try to fix such errors myself, but the closure of a nomination generally includes the signature of the closer, and if i were to fix this for you, i would end up getting credit for this promotion.

apologies, Bruxton, it looks like my explanation was unclear, as the image has not been restored and the nomination is currently in the category "Passed DYK nominations", when it should be in the category "Passed DYK nominations from July 2023". would you mind if i edited the nomination myself to correct this? i am asking for your permission as, technically, i would be editing the nomination after you have already closed it. dying (talk) 21:16, 2 August 2023 (UTC)
