template fails on unusual IDs

A user translated a German entry into our Polychlorinated carbazoles article, and did not change the German {{DNB|100727316X/34}} into the english {{DNB-IDN|100727316X/34}} I made the change, but our template apparently handles the id param improperly: the external link fails (like this:DNB-IDN 100727316X/34). The link works on the German Wikipedia, so our DNB-IDN must be somewhat different than the German DNB. I cannot fix this because I cannot read German. Looking at the generated URLs, the German puts the "/" in the URL without modification, while the english converts it to "%2F" -Arch dude (talk) 21:35, 30 November 2019 (UTC)
