Proposal to re purpose this template

One issue that we have with categories is that when added and then copied, they appear in all name spaces. Likewise when an editor is writing a new article in user space and adds categories, that article appears in the encyclopedia categories even though the article is not yet in the encyclopedia. My proposal is to re purpose this to use put a simple shell around the categories so that they would only appear in main space articles and categories. This would allow its use in a new article that when moved would show up correctly without any action by the editor. Comments? Vegaswikian (talk) 19:18, 28 September 2010 (UTC)
