Non-consensus list formats being added

Some new list formats have been added without any prior discussion - see here. Using them without prior consensus would appear to breach WP:AVILIST. I have started a discussion here. — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 18:18, 6 January 2017 (UTC)

Per the linked discussion, a "No." column has been added to the General and Role formats. The exact legend for this column and for some existing ones is still under discussion. — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 16:39, 21 June 2019 (UTC)

New maintenance categories

Currently the nonstandard option adds the list article to Category:Lists of aircraft in non-standard formats. This is a maintenance category which was created to keep track of these lists. I have found it useful, so I now propose to create maintenance categories for the other options:

• Category:Lists of aircraft in general format
• Category:Lists of aircraft in military format
• Category:Lists of aircraft in military current format
• Category:Lists of aircraft in military historical format
• Category:Lists of aircraft in role format

These will not affect the list article content, they will merely add it to the relevant category. Any comments/objections? — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 07:58, 29 May 2019 (UTC)

Proposed removal of "military" list format
