Candidates
editThe reference/source used is great, but not complete. The SDP have, for example, 20 candidates (yes, I have checked the SOPNs!) Sumorsǣte (talk) 09:56, 16 November 2019 (UTC)
Seat changes
editI started a discussion about how we represent the seat changes at Talk:2019 United Kingdom general election#Seat change numbers which has a relevance for this template - I'd appreciate input from other editors there. WJ94 (talk) 14:53, 13 December 2019 (UTC)
Blank and invalid votes
editAs far as I know the page show the definitive results, so where are the total of blank and invalid votes? Surely the UK electoral commission would have released such a number, right? We can't know the exact turnout until we got it.--Aréat (talk) 16:33, 19 December 2019 (UTC)
House of Commons Library Source
editI noticed some discrepancies in the popular vote statistics. For instance, the Conservative vote share in the BBC source was 13,966,451, which when divided by the given total of votes cast (31,829,630) gives the Conservatives a vote share of 43.9% rather than the stated 43.6%.
As a result, I have added another probably more reliable source from the House of Commons Library for vote numbers and updated the table accordingly. I have not removed the BBC source due to the fact that it provides more detail on the vote share of each of the three different Green parties. However, due to the fact that the BBC source openly conflicts with the HoCL source, it might be necessary to remove it entirely.
One other aspect of this new source is that it provides information on parties that received fewer than 500 votes, if anyone wishes to add those to the table as well. LucyMS02 (talk) 21:08, 1 March 2020 (UTC)
