With parameters the complete syntax looks like {{subst:WikiProject Curling Welcome-anon|YourUsername|~~~~|art=ArticleName}}

Parameters:

First parameter = username to link to your talk page: {{subst:WikiProject Curling Welcome-anon|YourUsername}}
Second parameter = signature: {{subst:WikiProject Curling Welcome-anon|~~~~}}
Parameter 'art' = article the user positively contributed to: {{subst:WikiProject Curling Welcome-anon|art=ArticleName}}
