The template is intended to be used only for flora distribution categories that are based on the World Geographical Scheme for Recording Plant Distributions. It displays the level 1, 2 or 3 code used in that scheme. Categories with a code displayed are placed in subcategories of Category:Flora categories with a WGSRPD code, used for maintenance purposes only.

The template also produces a hatnote linking to guidance on the use of flora distribution categories.

Usage

{{WGSRPD code|LN=value}}, where N = 1, 2 or 3, and value is the value of the level code

If more than one level parameter is given, only the highest numbered is used.
