Template documentation
This template takes the following parameters:
- First unnamed (or named as
|1=
) if you want) – the amount spent, e.g.85.99
,1,200
,500–600
, etc. - Second unnamed parameter (or
|2=
) – the count (exact, approximate, range, the word "lots", etc.) of purchased sources (books, articles at paywalled sites, whatever). |currency=
– to specify a currency abbreviation, like "USD", "US$", "GB£", "¥", or whatever. By default, it displays "$$$" for the icon and "$" in the text, but the value of|currency=
will replace both. If you need the currency to come after the amount, use this parameter for the icon, and use the next for the text.|currency2=
– to give a currency after the amount, for currency formats that require this. Use of this parameter suppresses the in-text display of|currency=
.|atleast=n
– to suppress the words "at least" and give an exact amount of money (or a range).|over=n
– to suppress the word "over" and give an exact count of purchases (or a range).|wmf=y
– to change "in Wikipedia articles" to "on Wikimedia projects".
