Usage

This template creates a {{cite web}} reference to an entry in UC QuakeStudies, a digital archive built to store content related to the Canterbury earthquakes held by the University of Canterbury.

Typical usage would be between <ref></ref> tags, with the code below suitable for copy and paste:

<ref name="QuakeStudies item">{{QuakeStudies|id|title|24 May 2024}}</ref>

1. id: Id in the URL, consisting of four or five digits
2. title: Title of the entry (top right in the title bar)
3. accessdate: Date the QuakeStudies entry was last verified to support the text in the Wikipedia article
4. A plain link without cite web can be created with plainlink=y.

Apart from id, all parameters are optional. title defaults to PAGENAME.

Example

The QuakeStudies entry for the Lyttelton Borough Council Chambers is at https://quakestudies.canterbury.ac.nz/store/object/517008. The id in the URL is '517008'. Accessing the entry today (UTC) would result in the following code:
