Module:Party name with color (sandbox)

Template:Party index link produces a colored box with a linked political party name.

Usage

{{Party index link\|Independent politician}} gives	Independent
{{Party index link\|Independent politician\|border=darkgray}} gives	Independent

Parameters

Parameter	Description
1	The political party's name. If no color is returned, verify the party is listed at Module:Political party.
2	An optional manual name to use. If `\|2=` is not used, the template retrieves the short name from the Module:Political party entry.
border	An optional border color. The default is black.
