Template:Medcombox/doc

This template is displayed on requests for mediation filed after March 2010, to provide a summary of each case. (Before 2010, the infobox was not included, and a different format was used for requests.) Substantial amendments should first be discussed at WT:RFM.

Usage

The template is added automatically upon filing, so the following code shouldn't be necessary, but a typical usage would be:

Parameters

Compulsory parameters
|article=	Article or page that is [primary] subject of case	Parameter is option if its value is identical to the request name ({{SUBPAGENAME}}), optional.	= United Kingdom = File:Example.jpg
|mediator=	Username of the mediator who takes on the case.	Not compulsory, but we require it for any open cases that have a mediator assigned.	= AGK = WGFinley
|status=	Status of the request	Can be: At requests for mediation, Rejected request, Awaiting mediator to be assigned, Open, Open (but stale), Case on hold, Case closed. Defaults to Rejected if the case is in a rejected cases archive.	rfm, rejected, mediator (awaiting a mediator), open, stale, hold, or close.
Additional parameters
|article2=	Name of a second article	Same as |article= (which this requires to be declared)	= Foo = Template:Example

|article-nb=	any short string	Appends a note to the list of articles involved in request	Displays in the box under "Article/s", as "Article – Example (talk) (lead paragraph only)".

|casename=	Name of request name (e.g. Wikipedia:Requests for mediation/Example)	Previously called |requestname=, which is now a mirror parameter. |parties=	Number of parties to the case.	The filing party was asked to fill this in
