- The speciesID (si) of the species or taxa on the website GISD.
- To find the speciesID, search for the taxon on the website's home page. Copy the si number from the URL.
- Ex http://www.issg.org/database/species/ecology.asp?si=1053
- Ex (Melastoma candidum): [http://www.issg.org/database/species/ecology.asp?si=1053]
- The speciesID (si) would be 1053
- speciesname
- The binomialname of the species.
- Ex: '' Melastoma candidum ''
- Note: At this time, naming the author is not supported
