Tui Manu'a Matelita

Tui Manu'a Matelita
Tui Manu'a Matelita
  • ... that Tui Manu'a Matelita (pictured), the Samoan queen of Manu'a, was described by Robert Louis Stevenson as a "little slip of a half-caste girl about twenty, who sits all day in a pink gown, in a little white European house"? (citation is valid: found at p. 405 of Sidney Colvin, Scribner, 1918, gBooks [1])

  • New enough (moved to m/space 12 June 2017); article length OK (3870 char.); neutral in tone; no copvio/ close editing except for the expected block quote from RLS; all sections fully cited; the hook meets formatting guidelines, but is over 20 characters too long, sorry (has to be less than 200)- the obvious suggestion is to trim the RLS quote. Something like Tui Manu'a Matelita (pictured), a Samoan queen, was described by Robert Louis Stevenson as "a slip" of a girl, "about twenty, who sits all day in a pink gown, in a little white European house" Hook good in length, see further below; But the hook is, notwithstanding that, is neutral, interesting, and sourced; Image is free, looks okay at a reduced size and is of course in use in the article itself. QPQ- this is mine for Dolly Rudeman. Cheers. — O Fortuna semper crescis, aut decrescis 14:10, 13 June 2017 (UTC)

@KAVEBEAR: That's great. Sorry to pull you up over something as petty as -23 letters?! But, you know. Take care!

Good to go with ALT 1. — O Fortuna semper crescis, aut decrescis 18:20, 13 June 2017 (UTC)
