Treaty of Louviers edit

Created by Doug Coldwell (talk). Self nominated at 11:57, 18 February 2015 (UTC).

  • DYK checklist template
General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems
Hook: Hook has been verified by provided inline citation
Image: Image is freely licensed, used in the article, and clear at 100px.
QPQ: Done.

Overall: Passes DYK checklist. However, without affecting its DYK status, I would like to note that minor rewriting could improve the article. Example: "The region of where the manor of Andeli was in is now called Upper Normandy..." is a lot more easily understood as "The manor of Andeli is located in present-day Upper Normandy..." There are other awkward phrases in the article. Without intent to insult, I feel it is a shame to spoil the tale with such clumsiness.Georgejdorner (talk) 03:52, 19 February 2015 (UTC)

  • Thanks for tick. Made the suggestion of "...manor of Adeli..." I'll continue copyediting and improving the article.--Doug Coldwell (talk) 11:49, 19 February 2015 (UTC)
