Thomas Ince: Hollywood's Independent Pioneer edit

Moved to mainspace by Skr15081997 (talk). Self nominated at 13:32, 14 January 2015 (UTC).

Article is new enough. Article is about 60 characters too short but the lead is also too short so an expansion in the lead is all that is required to fix that. Hook tweeked. Hooks are correctly formatted. Article is well referenced. First hook is stated in the article and supported by two refs. I don't think that Silent Era is technically a reliable source but CCHS is so that's OK. Second hook also supported by a RS. I detected no close paraphrasing or copyvios. Will be ready when the lead is expanded to give extra text. Philafrenzy (talk) 23:13, 18 January 2015 (UTC)
@Skr15081997 and Philafrenzy: I know this has been approved but surely we could incorporate the whole "Father of the Western" into the hook as I don't think many people will know who he is. Something like.
  • Sounds good, but his bio does not include any source for that name? Philafrenzy (talk) 21:36, 21 January 2015 (UTC)
The Daily Progress source is used as a cite for it. I've backed it up with a couple of book sources. Cowlibob (talk) 22:17, 21 January 2015 (UTC)
