QPQ exempt? hook and article are long enough and all his images are out of copyright. Article and hook are well cited, its neutral and I didn't spot any close paraphrasing. This is a nice description of the artists life and work. thanks Victuallers (talk) 08:52, 1 December 2015 (UTC)
As far as I can tell, this article was created on October 11, and cannot be considered new by DYK standards (which requires submission within seven days), nor is it 5x expanded in the last seven days. Given that this was nominated seven weeks after its creation, I don't see how it can qualify for DYK at present. There is always the future possibility of nominating it as a Good Article, and then returning to DYK within seven days of it passing. (Re the QPQ: I count only one previous nomination, but several credits when BabbaQ self-nominated and subsequently added a DYKmake for ♥Golf. Under the circumstances, I don't believe a QPQ would be required, though in this case it's moot.) BlueMoonset (talk) 20:12, 1 December 2015 (UTC)

- Yes I do! I forgot that new articles have to nominated almost immediately to be considered for DYK. I thank you for your efforts on my behalf to get this nominated. I don't see any way to expand 5x so it looks like this will not be a candidate unless it is promoted to GA which won't happen without mega enhancements to the existing article.
