Sufficiently new, long enough, neutrally written, cites sources, prose is well written and accessible. I think the blurb could use revisions, however, as Christ Church in Alexandria is not George Washington's exclusively, but a church that Washington (and others) once attended. Therefore my suggestion is to come up with an alternative blurb such as "the Students' Building is modeled after Christ Church of Alexandria, Virginia, a church once attended by George Washington?" - You are welcome. How certain are you that Washington "frequented" rather than having simply "attended" this church? I think there is a subtle but important difference, and the current article of Christ Church does not necessarily suggest that Washington attended on a regular basis, but only that he was there occasionally. - The Christ Church article says "frequented" but it's not really something worth belaboring.

- Sorry if I am being a bit picky but I have had some negative experiences not doing my due diligence for DYK in the past. I did some research myself and found this on the official website of Christ Church which says that George Washington did in fact attend this church, and I am ok with taking this as a RS. So your existing blurb is fine but you may want to go ahead and add this as a reference in the Christ Church article just so we cover all our bases. - OK, I'll do the review. ALT2 is hooky but is not cited inline. The cite belongs after this sentence: He trekked to Alexandria to study the interior and exterior of the church and ultimately the designs for the Students' Building, his first public plan, were inspired by its architecture and features.
