South Bay Salt Works

edit
  • ALT1:... that over 94 species of bird have been seen at the salt ponds of South Bay Salt Works?
  • Reviewed: As of this DYK nomination I have a dozen DYK credits. As such I have reviewed the nomination for the article Royal Air Force Marine Branch (diff).
  • Comment: I began work on this article on 29 April, and for this review am considered to have completed expanding this article today, 3 May; this length of time is under the seven day limit. I have exceeded expansion of this article beyond the five-fold requirement; prior to my first edit the article was all of 256 characters, a true stub; as of my last edit to the article prior to creating this nomination the article is 6075 characters (not including the infobox and primary section titles), this is an expansion of twenty-three fold! The article has not been featured, to the best of my knowledge, in the past in other main page sections; nor is it a translation from other wiki sources. The article exceeds the long enough requirement, and hook 1 is 91 characters in length, while hook 2 is shorter at 79 characters in length. Nearly all sentences of the article are verified to reliable sources, and this article has no BLP issues that I am aware of.

5x expanded by RightCowLeftCoast (talk). Self-nominated at 12:08, 3 May 2015 (UTC).

Here is a possible image for the first hook. Caption can be "Buildings of South Bay Salt Works".--RightCowLeftCoast (talk) 12:16, 3 May 2015 (UTC)
Here is a possible image for the second hook. Caption can be "Elegant terns at the salt works".--RightCowLeftCoast (talk) 12:18, 3 May 2015 (UTC)
  • This article is a fivefold expansion and is new enough and long enough. Either hook could be used as each has an inline citation. The images are appropriately licensed but I do not think the bird image looks impressive at thumbnail size. The article is neutral and I detected no copyright issues.
