The article is new enough and long enough. It does not appear to have copyright violations. Earwig's Copyvio Detector says that a violation is possible, but that is because of the large quotation. The article is neutral and uses inline citations. I assume good faith for the offline The South African flag book source. The QPQ is done. The hook is cited, and the image is freely licensed. But the hook seems somewhat unclear. It could mean that the South African Defence Force Ensign and the old flag of South Africa were initially used together. Can you rephrase the hook? - @Gulumeemee: I have just reworded it. I couldn't put South African National Defence Force fully in it as it would have taken the hook over the length limit. The C of E God Save the Queen! (talk) 08:03, 10 March 2017 (UTC)
