Source: "Upon receiving word of the assassination, Haus raced from Pola to the mouth of the Narenta aboard the yacht Lacroma, escorted by the dreadnought Tegetthoff the scout cruiser Admiral Spaun, and every torpedo boat that was ready to put to sea. The hastily as sembled escort fleet was on hand in time to witness the transfer of the bodies to the Viribus Unitis; thereafter, the entire force moved slowly up the coast to Trieste, remaining within sight of land much of the way."
