R. R. Bolgar

  • ... that the Cambridge don R. R. Bolgar was heard to say that if it had not been for a misfortune, he might well have supported the Nazis as a landowner in Moravia and been liquidated by the Russians?
Source: "DR ROBERT BOLGAR" (obituary) in The Times, 26 June 1985, p. 14: "Robert used to reflect that, but for this mischance, he would probably have been a pro-Nazi Moravian landowner ultimately liquidated in 1945 by the advancing Russians."

  • New enough, long enough, and sourced throughout. I AGF on the Times obituary. 𝕱𝖎𝖈𝖆𝖎𝖆 (talk) 05:24, 11 December 2022 (UTC)
