Date, length, inline ref, etc all are fine. If "three months ago" is OK for DYK (see Wikipedia:DATED) then hook, too is fine. Djflem (talk) 21:06, 27 August 2013 (UTC)

It's different for DYK, since the hook only appears for a few hours on one day. It's frequent for hooks to speak about "today", either talking about something in the news or talking about an anniversary. Nyttend (talk) 01:02, 28 August 2013 (UTC)
