Polyphonia

  • ... that after working on Polyphonia, choreographer Christopher Wheeldon and ballerina Wendy Whelan collaborated 12 more times? Source: "Mr. Wheeldon said that their encounter during the making of “Polyphonia,” set to Ligeti extracts, had been pivotal to his career... Mr. Wheeldon went on to create 12 more ballets with Ms. Whelan" (New York Times)

  • I fail to find the hook interesting enough. Any alternatives Corachow? I'll finish reviewing the rest soon. VincentLUFan (talk) (Kenton!) 15:48, 24 August 2020 (UTC)
  • ALT1: ... that both choreographer Christopher Wheeldon and ballerina Wendy Whelan credited working with each other on Polyphonia for helping their careers? Source: "But, it wasn’t, Ms. Whelan said, until she started to work with Mr. Wheeldon on his breakthrough ballet, the 2001 “Polyphonia,” that she began to find herself as a dancer... Mr. Wheeldon said that their encounter during the making of “Polyphonia,” set to Ligeti extracts, had been pivotal to his career." (New York Times)
  • ALT2: ... that the title of the ballet Polyphonia is a reference to micropolyphony, a kind of musical structure developed by composer György Ligeti? Source: "As the title suggests, Ligeti's interest in what he called micropolyphony sets up polyphonic structures for a choreographer, although they are not necessarily heard in these piano pieces." (New York Times)
  • ALT3: ... that the ballet Polyphonia is regarded as choreographer Christopher Wheeldon's "breakthrough"? Source: "Polyphonia was a breakthrough work for Christopher Wheeldon." (The Independent)
  • ATT4: ... that after working on Polyphonia, ballerina Wendy Whelan became choreographer Christopher Wheeldon's muse? Source: "Mr. Wheeldon said that their encounter during the making of “Polyphonia,” set to Ligeti extracts, had been pivotal to his career... Mr. Wheeldon went on to create 12 more ballets with Ms. Whelan" (New York Times)
  • Vincent60030 Here's four ALTs, I might be able to come out a few more. Corachow (talk) 16:06, 24 August 2020 (UTC)
  • Hmm, some information from the lead is missing in the prose section. This shouldn't be difficult to fix.
  • ALT1 doesn't really seem that quirky but it is an improvement. ALT4 is meh as well. I think ALT2 is the best so far.
  • New enough, long enough, no copyvios and within policy. QPQ done. So just left with lead issue to fix. VincentLUFan (talk) (Kenton!) 13:41, 25 August 2020 (UTC)
  • Oops I forgot to @Corachow:. VincentLUFan (talk) (Kenton!) 13:41, 25 August 2020 (UTC)
