Polyergus rufescens edit

  • Reviewed: Six Days of Amsterdam
  • Comment: This nomination, although out of time, replaces a joint nomination which was made on November 12th and within time.

  • Article newness and length are good. im dubious about the veracity of the hook reference though, as there is no backing for the statements and the reference itself is a ?self? published e-book with no backing data.--Kevmin § 01:00, 30 November 2013 (UTC)
I might argue about the e-book which consists of accounts of the observations and writings of scientists respected in their day, but instead I will suggest an alternative hook:

ALT1 ... that in their nests, Polyergus rufescens ants are usually outnumbered by their slaves by at least five to one? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cwmhiraeth (talkcontribs) 06:19, 30 November 2013‎

  • ALT1 needs to be reviewed, plus other issues beyond newness and length. BlueMoonset (talk) 20:15, 2 December 2013 (UTC)
  • new hook is good, article newness and length are good. References check out (agf on the veracity of reference 6) and no policy issues seen.--Kevmin § 01:14, 4 December 2013 (UTC)
