Long enough, new enough, neutral, no copyvio. Image OK. QPQ pending. The use of an information plaque as a source surprised me (though it's not unprecedented). Also, the claim about the two Sangallos looks a bit synthetic; we have sources attributing the fortress to one Sangallo and other sources attributing it to the other, but it's not clear to me whether the various sources contradict or complement each other on this point. Apart from that, nice work; I would tick this, but I'd first like to be more confident that the hook fact is accurate. While it is supported by an appropriate reliable source, there are sources elsewhere on the web that say the experiment happened on 2 April 1662 (e.g. [1], [2], [3]) rather than in 1658. Thank you for your review Sideways713. I will try to address all the points that you raise. First, the information plaque is used because it is arguably an official plaque added there by some official agency of Livorno and not by someone with no background on the subject. The synth part about the builders can be rectified by changing the sentence to attribute each builder directly to the source which mentions them. So I have decoupled the two builders and their respective sources. Regarding the dates, I have found the original book which contains the records of the Accademia del Cimento. According to the book, the actual record date is 2 April 1662 as in the other sources you provided. I have provided ALT1 to reflect that. I have also done the QpQ. Please let me know if that would be sufficient. By the way thank you also for providing the additional sources and for catching the date discrepancy. I find these sources to be excellent.
