Notre Dame Cathedral (Phnom Penh) edit

Created/expanded by Bloom6132 (talk). Self nom at 21:45, 7 December 2012 (UTC)

  • New York Times (ref 8) supports first hook. It is within length. Expansion meets criteria and deadline date as it was expanded on 7 December from 680 characters to 3700. It is original, neutral, interesting. QPQ ok. What I have a problem with is the image. It is certainly a copyvio in my opinion as a simple Google search pops up with a tons of hits with the same pic earlier than its Wikipedia upload date. It is obviously not the original work of the author who claims it. One of the significant website hosting the same image is Flickr where all its rights are reserved by author Manur, who isn't proved to be the same as Laurentleap. Just for one fact one claims his name to be Laurent in Wikipedia while the flicr user is Emanuelle. At least a Wikimedia check is needed to approve the photo's free license or the approval of the flickr user. Until then I don't think it is proper to feature a copyvio photo hook in a DYK. I've removed the pic in question from this DYK nom and hid the picture in the article until the check is completed. Is that OK? —Bloom6132 (talk) 19:08, 8 December 2012 (UTC)
I think it's good to go now. Lajbi Holla @ meCP 19:10, 8 December 2012 (UTC)
