National Raisin Reserve edit

Created by Ktr101 (talk). Self nominated at 04:28, 14 August 2013 (UTC).

A couple of comments:
  • I would have thought that Raisin Administrative Committee would be a better location for this article, given that they are the ones who control the reserve. Perhaps it could be moved there and slightly refocused?
  • The sources do not capitalise "national raisin reserve" - should it be changed to lower case?
  • Can we change the wording to remove the term "racked up"?
  • This and this would probably be useful to include as a reference or external link

Okay, I'll hack away at this later. Kevin Rutherford (talk) 16:28, 15 August 2013 (UTC)
I'm finding a lot of sources for the reserve, and if we were to move it to the committee article, I just don't think it would feel right, but since the reserve is a bigger topic, it is a better location to have the article at. For the second one, I'm finding a mix of capitalization, and non-capitalization (for example, the Daily Show's tweet uses caps, and even slaps, "U.S." at the front of it. I added the other links, as I didn't even think to search of anything beyond the news sources, so thanks for the suggestion! Kevin Rutherford (talk) 05:28, 19 August 2013 (UTC)

"Seizes" seems like a very loaded term to me. Is there another verb that could be substituted? Gamaliel (talk) 23:19, 14 August 2013 (UTC)

I honestly, was at a loss for words when I wrote it, so please change it if you want. Kevin Rutherford (talk) 16:28, 15 August 2013 (UTC)
Replaced the term. Kevin Rutherford (talk) 23:50, 9 September 2013 (UTC)
  • Now that the hook has "takes" instead of "seizes", a new review is needed that does the basic DYK checks (length, newness, hook and article inline sourcing, close paraphrasing, etc.) along with checking the previously raised issues. BlueMoonset (talk) 04:36, 12 September 2013 (UTC)

I checked out the article. I'm ready to pass this immediately once the "clarify" and "which" tags are addressed. Gamaliel (talk) 18:50, 13 September 2013 (UTC)
