Mental (album)
edit- .
... that CCM Magazine on KJ-52's new album Mental showcases, "the multi-Dove Award-winning wordsmith poises his ninth recording for the ultimate spiritual confrontation."?

- The article is new enough and long enough, the hook is cited, and the only copyright violation issues raised by the Earwig tool are for blocks of text that are attributed in quotes in the article, so that doesn't seem to be an issue. I am, however, concerned about the grammar in the hook. Perhaps something like ALT1: ... that Andrew Greer wrote in CCM Magazine that KJ-52's new album Mental showcases "the multi-Dove Award-winning wordsmith pois[ing] his ninth recording for the ultimate spiritual confrontation"? Other than that I think this is good to go. Everymorning talk 02:41, 22 January 2015 (UTC)
- The original hook is grammatically bad enough that I've struck it. MANdARAX • XAЯAbИAM 03:19, 23 January 2015 (UTC)
- DYKcheck reports 2009 prose characters, but at least 1370 of that consists of quotes. That leaves fewer than 650 characters of real prose, and most of that is just introductory phrases for the quotes. As far as I'm concerned, the entire thing would have to be rewritten, replacing most of the quotes with material in one's own words. However, the user appears to have retired, so this nomination may be dead. MANdARAX • XAЯAbИAM 03:46, 23 January 2015 (UTC)
- I've just posted a DYK notice on the user's talk page as a courtesy, in case the page is being monitored. I've offered a week; should we hit that point without a response, then it'll be time to mark this for closure. BlueMoonset (talk) 16:04, 28 January 2015 (UTC)
